CLASSIFICATION AND AGE DIVISIONS:The Space City Spring Fling is sponsored by the Space City Futbol Club (SCFC). The tournament is for select and recreational teams registered with the United States Youth Soccer (USYSA), US Club Soccer, American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) and Soccer for Youth (SAY).The tournament is sanctioned as a non-restricted event by the South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA) and is open to boys & girls teams from U-08 through U-19.
Application deadline of March 9, 2012; Entries received after the registration deadline will be accepted on a space available basis.
There are three levels of competition for U11-U19:
Gold (Highest level -Premier & Div. 1)
Silver (Div. 1 & Super 2)
Bronze (Div. 2 & 3)
There are two levels of competition for U9-U10:
Gold (Academy or Competitive)
Silver (Rec Teams)
Single age brackets and levels will be formed if applications support the groupings. Unless otherwise amended, the current Laws of the Game (as published by USYSA) will apply to this competition.
