  • Our dedicated volunteers!  Volunteer assistant coaches, team managers, and committee members work with the pro staff to move the organization forward and provide a quality experience for our players and their families.
  • Our facilities!  Space City FC and International Soccer Development Center are raising the bar for facilities in the whole South Texas area with the development of the new state-of-the-art soccer complex!
  • Our dedication to the community!  Space City FC works with high school coaches to ensure that our players can take advantage of playing at their school during these important years.  As a result, the rosters of our local high schools are well represented by SCFC players, while they also compete for club league championships.  We also strive to involve our younger SCFC players through our Fantastic Fans Program.
Parents that are considering the Competitive Program for their player, and parents that are new to the program, will find our SCFC Competitive Program Parent Handbook to be very informative!

Current and prospective Competitive Program volunteers:
SCFC invites you to indicate in the Blue Sombrero registration system that you are interested in serving as an Division 1 assistant coach, team manager, or Division 2 volunteer coach for the upcoming season.  Assistant coaches play a key role in coaching and managing competitive teams along with the club’s professional staff in a manner that provides the best possible environment for player development.  Division 1 assistant coaches assist the professional staff with practice and game-time management; as such, they must complete coaching education sessions.  Team managers focus primarily on team administrative tasks.  Division 2 volunteer coaches lead the team's practices and games and also serve as team manager.

In the Blue Sombrero system, just check the appropriate boxes and provide the requested information and the club will contact you.

*PLEASE NOTE: BAYSA is currently planning to offer Division 2 programming for the U11 age groups.  Space City is working to support BAYSA in this effort.
