The
Space City Futbol Club Competitive Program is the primary user of a new, state-of-the art complex being built by the
International Soccer Development Center (ISDC). The new complex, named the Ron Carter International Soccer Development Center is located at
1156 Fox Meadow Drive, Alvin 77511, just off of FM 528 at the border with Friendswood. Not only will SCFC competitive players benefit, our recreational programs benefit because this will free up field space at our Clear Lake, Friendswood, and League City regional complexes. In short, the new complex benefits our whole club.
The ISDC is being built to create an environment that fosters the growth of the sport of soccer in the community with a European influence. The ultimate goal is to provide American youth with proper training and work ethic to take their game to the next level through an American college/university or professionally both domestically and in Europe. Read ISDC's mission statement
here.
Phase I of the new complex is expected to include eleven full sized fields.
ISDC is committed to making this the premier soccer facility in the greater Houston area and the future home of international youth tournaments and a site for professional exhibition games. The facility's
ultimate plan includes a soccer stadium, restaurant, and hotel!
